Graduate Programs in Systems Engineering

  • Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas) — SMU, a local university, offers Masters and Ph.D. programs in Systems Engineering.  We have enjoyed a long, fruitful partnership with SMU.
  • Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, New Jersey) — The Stevens Institute of Technology offers graduate programs in Systems Engineering.  Some companies, such as L-3 Communications, partner with Stevens in offering cohort programs.

Projects / Initiatives in Systems Engineering

  • Body of Knowledge and Curriculum to Advance Systems Engineering (BKCASE) – BKCASE (pronounced ”Bookcase”) is the acronym for the Body of Knowledge and Curriculum to Advance Systems Engineering. The BKCASE project is led by a university partnership between the Stevens Institute of Technology and the Naval Postgraduate School.  The project scope is to define a Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge ( SE BoK) and use the SE BoK to develop an Advanced Graduate Reference Curriculum for Systems Engineering (GRCSE, pronounced ”Gracie”).
  • Dallas Regional Science and Engineering Fair — A non-profit educational organization run by local volunteers who give their time to help students develop their interests in science.
  • Future City Competition — The nation’s largest not-for-profit engineering education program teams middle school students with professionals and teachers to tackle the challenge of building a livable city of the future.
